Every Tidelands House preparation is formulated, distilled, poured, labeled, and wrapped by hand within our historic formulation atelier in Cambridge, Ontario. Your trust in our work is deeply valued, and we are honoured to share these preparations with you.
Our parcels are packed using recycled and low-impact shipping materials whenever possible. To reduce unnecessary paper waste, packing slips and printed receipts are not automatically included with orders. Should you require one, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your order.
Processing Times
As each order is prepared in small batches within our working atelier, kindly allow approximately 5–10 business days for your parcel to ship during most seasons.
During launches, seasonal releases, holidays, or periods of especially high volume, processing times may extend slightly.
If you require your parcel sooner, please contact us prior to ordering and we will always do our best to accommodate rush requests whenever possible.

Shipping Within Canada
Canadian orders ship with tracked delivery and typically arrive within 2–10 business days once dispatched from our atelier.

United States Shipping
Orders shipping to the United States include tracking and generally arrive within approximately 5–18 business days after dispatch, though transit times may vary depending on customs processing and carrier conditions.
Please note that any duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, or import charges assessed by U.S. Customs are the responsibility of the receiver.
Recent changes to cross-border import regulations have affected many independent Canadian businesses and U.S. customers alike. We remain closely informed as policies evolve and continue refining our shipping processes to make delivery as seamless and dependable as possible.
If a parcel is refused by the receiver due to customs charges or import fees, it may either be returned to us at additional carrier expense or destroyed by customs officials. Because these fees are billed independently by the carrier and border agencies, refused parcels are not eligible for refund.
By placing an order for U.S. delivery, the purchaser acknowledges responsibility for any applicable import fees or duties.

Returns & Exchanges
Due to the intimate and hygienic nature of botanical skin care preparations, we are unable to accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed.
Each preparation is crafted in small batches using whole-plant ingredients, aromatic distillates, botanical ferments, resins, minerals, and naturally derived materials. Subtle variations in colour, aroma, texture, and botanical sediment may occur naturally between harvests and batches and are considered part of the living character of our formulations.
We encourage customers to review ingredient lists carefully prior to purchase and to contact us with any questions regarding ingredients, sensitivities, or formulation guidance before ordering. We are always happy to help guide you toward the most suitable preparation for your skin.
As with all botanical products, we recommend patch testing before full use.

Damaged or Lost Parcels
Once a parcel has been transferred to the carrier, delivery timelines and transit handling fall outside of our control. However, if your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of both the parcel and contents so we may assist where possible.
Please ensure your shipping address is entered carefully at checkout, as we cannot guarantee recovery of parcels shipped to incorrectly entered addresses.
Additional shipping insurance may be requested prior to dispatch for higher-value orders.
