Distilled by hand in our stone cottage stillroom using the traditional artisan steam extraction method in a pure copper still.

Wild Melissa, also known as Honey Balm (Melissa officinalis L), is sustainably and tenderly gathered from the hedgerows and bramble of our historic stone carriage house garden at the perfect seasonal ripeness to ensure the nutrient-rich properties are encapsulated in our potent distillate. This season, we have combined our beloved Wild Honey Balm Essence with fermented Spring Violets gathered from our organic allotment. 
 
This craft hydrosol is prepared only once per year in limited availability. 
 
Antioxidant-Rich  
Honey Balm: Contains potent antioxidants that nourish and protect the skin, promoting firmness, toning, and brightness.
 
Wild Violets: Rich in antioxidants, which protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals and environmental stressors, while supporting a vibrantly aging complexion.
 
Anti-inflammatory Properties 
Honey Balm: Contains rosmarinic acid and other anti-inflammatory compounds that help reduce redness, swelling, and irritation, making it ideal for soothing sensitive or inflamed skin.

This hydrosol is the perfect pairing with our entire facial serum collection. 
Shake the product well with each use and mist into the palm of the hand, adding a few drops of your favourite facial serum. Blend and apply to the face, neck and chest. It may also be enjoyed as a fragrant body mist. Mist this spray and inhale the calming aroma during moments of unease.
